Hope this helps :)
It's not a schedule--it just simply lists each chapter of the bible so you can bubble them in as you go along. Sort of like a scantron ;) This way, you always know where you left off even if your bookmark falls out.
It was a bit tricky to get it all on one side--but I finally got it to fit--yay!
Now, fold it in fourths, stick it in your life manual, and it's reading time!
wow that is like pretty cool hannah! i could totally use this, shin duplication center should print them out as birthday gifts for kids and teachers
ReplyDeleteu cant even make it into a contest or something
Hi Hannah! This is Sarah from USC kcm :) I love this bible reading chart...mind if I blog in on my website? Hope you're doing well!
ReplyDeleteSarah
i don't mind at all!!!! :)
DeleteLove it!!!
ReplyDeleteI often get discouraged with Bible plans cause I tend to skip around, then I realize I am not reading on plan. This helps keep track of what I need to read, and I can skip around as I see fit and still read it all! Love it! Thank you so much!!
ReplyDeleteThis is so incredibly fun and perfect for staying organized with Bible chapter reading! Thank you for sharing it with us!
ReplyDeleteThis is great! Wanted you to know I featured this post over at my blog. http://becomingblameless.blogspot.com/2015/01/getting-serious-with-jesus.html
ReplyDeleteI just discovered your list and I suspect I'll like it once I try it, but I'm curious why it says Song of Songs instead of Song of Solomon? Is that a typo?
ReplyDeletegood catch!! I think it can also be known as song of songs by many but you're right, the actual book is called song of solomon. :) The file has been updated as such--thanks for letting us know!
DeleteMy preacher said it should be thought of as Song of Songs. It was written by Solomon, yes, but it is the song above all songs, the greatest love story, and every love story; it is not just Solomon's particular love story. So I always call it Song of Songs for that reason :)
DeleteThis is awesome!!! Is this available with all the books in the bible or just in the protestant version?
ReplyDeleteJust the 66 books of the bible :)
DeleteBut the original Bible has 73 books...
DeleteIn about 367 AD, St. Athanasius came up with a list of 73 books for the Bible that he believed to be divinely inspired. This list was finally approved by Pope Damasus I in 382 AD, and was formally approved by the Church Council of Rome in that same year. Later Councils at Hippo (393 AD) and Carthage (397 AD) ratified this list of 73 books.
In 405 AD, Pope Innocent I wrote a letter to the Bishop of Toulouse reaffirming this canon of 73 books. In 419 AD, the Council of Carthage reaffirmed this list, which Pope Boniface agreed to.
The Council of Trent, in 1546, in response to the Reformation removing 7 books from the canon (canon is a Greek word meaning “standard”), reaffirmed the original St. Athanasius list of 73 books.
I really wish this printable had all 73 books on it. :(
Just curious, but how many Bibles do you have that have 73 books? I am 63 and I have only seen one Bible that had more than 66 books and it was dated 1849. Anyway, thanks Hannah for a useful Bible Study tool. T. Moran
